Grievance Redressal Cell

The college has established a grievance redressal cell to provide a mechanism for redressal of students' grievances and ensure the transparency in admission, prevention of unfair practices, etc. The purpose of the cell is to examine complaints made by any student to determine their merit and to take remedial measures with impartial and holistic approach. Also, the grievance cell has the ability to resolve harassment-related matter. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the convener or committee members of the Grievance Redressal Cell in person. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing in the complaint box / suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at Administrative Block. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to convener of the Student's Grievance Cell.


Objective:

The Grievance Cell's goal is to foster an attitude of responsiveness and accountability among all stakeholders involved in order to preserve the institute's peaceful learning environment. A Grievance Cell should be constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the College with the following objectives:

  • Maintaining the dignity of the college by ensuring strife free atmosphere and by encouraging cordial relationships between students and teachers.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal.
  • Advising Students of the College to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.
  • Suggestion / complaint Box is installed in front of the Administrative office in which the Students, who want to remain anonymous, put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.
  • Counselling college students to behave with the utmost restraint and patience whenever a conflict arises and to respect each other's rights and dignity.
  • Encouraging students to openly and honestly discuss their complaints and issues without any fear of being victimized.
